All of our orders are bespoke commissions, where you are involved in the design process, from an initial consultation through to your finished item.
Jamie started his traditional apprenticeship in 2004, working in his family’s shop as a bench jeweller, alongside his father. He was able to learn on-the-job, manufacturing and repairing jewellery of all types.
Jamie has a particular interest in traditional and historical techniques. When we started the business in 2015, our aim was to take jewellery manufacturing away from mass-production and back to unique, handcrafted pieces.
We spent nine years working from a home workshop, before moving into Jamie’s father’s premises on Cheapside in Derby in 2024.
Jamie has an academic career in Anglo-Saxon and Medieval jewellery, through which he has worked with various universities and institutions in the UK.
Our workshop is on the first floor, and we have an intercom below our signage. For customers who may have difficulty with stairs, we have space in our entry vestibule where we could meet with you. There is a ridge in our doorway, which prevents wheelchairs from gaining access, but we can meet with customers using a wheelchair either in the downstairs shop or at a nearby cafe – please give us a ring to arrange an appointment.
